The editors of the Journal of Technology Transfer and the Organizing Committee are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming 2024 Technology Transfer Society (T2S) Annual Meeting in Brussels, where we will explore the theme of « Blurring Boundaries and Ambiguous Roles: Universities and the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. » 

Hosted by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), this event will be a great gathering of scholars and in the field of technology transfer and academic entrepreneurship.

T2S 2024 Details:

Call for Submissions: We invite you to participate by submitting your abstracts for presentation at the 2024 Annual Meeting. This conference welcomes submissions in the broad field of technology transfer research and especially invites contributions that address the intricate nature of entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems, the intersections between government, university, and industry, civil society, and the environment. We encourage submissions that feature longitudinal and historical studies, employ mixed-methods or multi-level research approaches, and embrace interdisciplinary methods. We anticipate studies conducted at micro, meso, and macro levels, but we encourage an approach that spans multiple levels.

Key Dates 

• February 15, 2024: Deadline for abstract submission. 

• March 15, 2024: Notification of acceptance and Early bird registration opens. 
• June 15, 2024: Deadline for full papers (only for authors submitting to the Paper Development Track). Early bird registration closes, and regular registration opens.
• June 30, 2024 : Deadline for accepted authors to register and confirm attendance.
